After the development of the Alii Credit Card Reconciliation module, clients requested a mobile CCR companion app for staff to quickly upload receipts and add transaction data, tailored for casual or infrequent users like teachers.

Challenge:
Design a lightweight, intuitive app that allowed users to snap, upload, and code receipts, while keeping it consistent with Alii’s brand and syncing seamlessly with the main platform.
Approach:
- Conducted competitor analysis and reviewed popular expense apps for inspiration.
- Created a clean, focused UI that emphasized speed and ease-of-use.
- Designed a flexible system where receipts could be reused and linked across modules.
- Built the design system from scratch in Figma
- Prototyped initial app design in FlutterFlow.
- Mapped out Information Architecture
Outcome:
A simple but powerful mobile tool that integrates directly into Alii’s ecosystem. For many users, this will be their only interaction with the Alii product, making UX clarity and performance critical. I'm also currently the product manager for this project.
